Following the success of its period drama, The Great Seljuks: Guardians of Justice, Mistco is celebrating the successful premiere of its newest drama in the saga: The Great Seljuks: Alparslan.
Produced by Arkli Film, the prequel premiered on TRT1 on November 8 in Turkey, becoming the leader in its time slot.
The new Turkish series was also named “Best Performing New Series”.
The Great Seljuks: Alparslan tells the life of Sultan Alparslan, the ruler of the Great Seljuk State, who defeated the Byzantine army in 1071 and opened the gates of Anatolia to the Turks. It stars Barış Arduç and Fahriye Evcen.
New International Sales
Mistco also announced further sales for its drama Hold My Hand, which was the best selling title of 2019 and has been launched in 4 different continents (US Hispanic, MENA, Europe and Africa) in October.
In addition, the distributor’s animated series, Rafadan Tayfa: Underground Adventure, reached China, along with its musical shows, merchandising products, animation series and theatrical movies.
Mistco will be present at the upcoming MipCancun, where Mistco will be located at Table 41.
