The Great Seljuks: Guardians of Justice (Uyanis Büyük Selcuklu) premiered as a ratings leader this week on TRT.
Turkish distributor Mistco celebrated the successful debut of The Great Seljuks: Guardians of Justice (Uyanis Büyük Selcuklu), which premiered on Monday on TRT1 as the leader in total ratings and in AB.
The historical drama will be distributed internationally by Mistco, a reference in the historical genre with titles such as Resurrection Ertugrul and The Last Emperor.
The Great Seljuks: Guardians of Justice is an Akli Film production for TRT and tells the story of Sultan Meliksah of the Seljuk dynasty.
It stars Buğra Gülsoy as Sultan Meliksah alongside Hatice Şendil, Gürkan Uygun, and Ekin Koç, among others.
“With an incredible cast, a strong story and a great setting, the series is a feast for audiences,” said Aysegul Tuzun, managing director of Mistco.
“As is well known, TRT is recognized for the production of historical dramas and we are sure that this series will be a new international phenomenon,” she added.
