The series, released in September, leads the ATV Distribution catalog during this edition of Mipcom 2022
The struggle of a woman to emerge from the darkness, leave behind a life of lies and start from scratch is the main plot axis of A Little Sunshine, a series whose rights have been acquired by Mediaset España for its free-to-air broadcast in the country.
Two well-known names of the Turkish star-system, Seray Kaya (Woman) and Berk Oktay (Forbidden Fruit) give life to the main couple in this story of love, secrets, lies, resilience and fight against adversity created and directed by Emre Kabakuşak ( The Ambassador’s Daughter) and with a script by Özgür Evren Heptürk (Karadaglar).
Kaya and Oktay are present in Cannes, walking the Mipcom red carpet to support the distribution of the title.
Premiered on September 5 on the Turkish network ATV, A Little Sunshine tells the story of Elif, a woman who has to start over on a personal level after hearing news that completely turns her life upside down. However, her situation takes a turn when one day she unexpectedly crosses paths with businessman Fırat.
With this acquisition, Mediaset España reinforces its extensive catalog of Turkish fiction, which includes titles such as The game of my destiny, In the heart of the city, A part of me and Between love and hate, among others.
