Under the title Traicionada, the series starring Cansu Dere will soon arrive on the Chilean network.
Mega, the pioneer network in discovering Turkish dramas in Latin America, announced the arrival of a new Ottoman series on its screen.
This is Sadakatsiz (A Woman Scorned for the international market), the Turkish adaptation of the successful British series Doctor Foster, created by Mike Bartlett in 2015 and broadcast by BBC and distributed internationally by BBC Studios.
In Chile it will air “soon” under the title Traicionada. Its premiere represents the return of the beloved actress Cansu Dere (Sina, Mother) to Chilean TV.
The series is distributed in the international market by Madd Entertainment. It was produced by Medyapim and premiered in 2020 in Turkey by Kanal D, with impressive success.
Last September it premiered, also sweeping audiences, in Spain on Antena 3, under the title Infiel.
The story revolves around the family made up of Dr. Asya (Cansu Dere) and her husband Volkan (Caner Cindoruk), who apparently live in harmony with her youngest son (Alp Akar). But all that peace ends when the woman discovers that her partner had a two-year relationship with a young woman named Derin (Melis Sezen).
The Turkish version of Doctor Foster joins those of India, France and South Korea.
