Megamedia-Chile announced that this Thursday, August 10, it will premiere Elegidos, 50 años en primera persona, on Mega. An original Megamedia production commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1973 coup in Chile.
It is a journey through the recent history of Chile, where six presidents of the republic relive, from their intimate perspective, what happened on September 11, 1973 and the subsequent years on the way back to democracy.
A series made up of six episodes, where presidents Patricio Aylwin, Eduardo Frei, Ricardo Lagos, Michelle Bachelet, Sebastián Piñera and Gabriel Boric, deliver deep historical content, with unprecedented revelations.
For Javier Villanueva, executive director of Megamedia, “Elegidos is a very important and significant project for us, since it responds to the intrinsic commitment and social responsibility that Megamedia has regarding the relevant issues of our country.”
Elegidos is scheduled for Thursdays in the second prime slot, after Generación 98.
