Under the local title Desnudos por la vida, the format will be presented by Jesús Vázquez.
Jesús Vázquez will be the presenter of Desnudos por la vida, a new docureality prepared by Mediaset Spain in which a male and female group of famous people with no dance training will prepare to star in an unprecedented challenge in their careers: to act in a fun show in which they will have to undress to educate viewers about the importance of preventing breast cancer in the female version and prostate and testicular cancer in the male version.
Emotion, humor and social awareness will come together in this new format, which the group will produce in collaboration with Secuoya Studios and which will begin recording in the coming weeks. In Desnudos por la vida, the participants will have to leave shame and modesty behind to give the best of themselves in a final striptease musical performance in the purest style of the iconic film Full Monty in a theater packed with spectators.
Desnudos por la vida is an adaptation of the original British format The Real Full Monty. Since its creation in 2017, the space has been adapted in various territories around the world, with editions in Australia, France, the Netherlands and Germany -with two seasons each- and also in Italy, Belgium and the United States.
Awarded with the International Emmy in 2019 for Best Non-Scripted Entertainment Program, The Real Full Monty, released on June 15, 2017 on the British network ITV1 and based on the Oscar-winning film starring Robert Carlyle, Tom Wilkinson and Mark Addy, tells with the unanimous backing of international critics, who have recognized him with a Royal Television Society Award in 2019 and a BAFTA nomination in 2018.
