The Board of Directors of the Spanish production company of Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, promoted Marta Pastor to the general management.
Spanish production company Suma Content announced that Madrid executive, Marta Pastor, moves to the general management of the company and assumes the position of CEO.
With more than 20 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, Marta Pastor has participated in the financing, production and distribution of numerous films and series. After her time at Mediapro, Apache Films and Morena Films, among other companies, she joined Suma Content as CFO in 2021.
After the success of her performance, she is promoted to lead as general director the production company founded three years ago by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo.
Pastor began his professional career in London, specialising in the audiovisual sector since 2001, where he has participated in films such as El otro lado de la cama, Cien años de perdón, Verónica or El buen Patrón and in series such as Vergüenza.
She worked with Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi on their first film, La Llamada, and on their first series, Paquita Salas. Since the founding of Suma Content she has participated in all of the company’s productions.
Following the success of La Mesías, the most awarded production in the history of the Feroz and the first Spanish series to be part of the Sundance Festival, in 2024 the series Superestar for Netflix and Mariliendre for Atresplayer have been filmed, pending release. In 2025 the filming of Suma Content’s first film will take place: Mi querida señorita, among other confirmed projects.
