The director of Banijay Mexico & US Hispanic spoke with ttvnews about the content they are presenting at Content Americas and the premieres they are preparing for 2024.

“The year 2023 for Banijay Mexico & US Hispanic was wonderful,” Marie Leguizamo, director of Banijay Mexico and US Hispanic, summarized to ttvnews from Content Americas in Miami.
“We had many opportunities to produce things that we had never produced before,” explained the executive, highlighting productions such as Temptation Island for several territories that will be announced soon, as well as new editions of LOL, among others.
“We are excited about the titles coming out this year,” she added.
Present at Content Americas, the executive said that the group is presenting “everything”, because “it is very important for us to always be innovating and thinking about new market trends, with a diverse pipeline to have something for everyone.”
“My vision is that it is very important that we grow as the industry grows. Budgets change, viewing trends change, and coming to these markets is important because it gives us the opportunity not only to talk to each other as colleagues, but also to listen trends from around the world”.
Lastly, the executive highlighted her participation in the Banijay Launch mentoring program. “I am excited to be a representative for Mexico, to look for those women who have those ideas but do not know how to make them come true. Having the opportunity to find them and help them achieve and one day have something they created on television excites me very much and it is an honor”.
