Come What May, My Lovely Family and The Joy of My Life are the three summer series Mistco brings as a novelty to MipCancun, with the idea of distributing them throughout Latin America.
Mistco has made its way to MipCancun to position its titles in the Latin American market. The region has become an increasingly significant area for the Turkish series and Mistco is bringing three new titles trending in Turkey during the summer season.
Maria Espino, Sales Director for Latin America and Iberia at Mistco, commented that they are excited to bring new content to MipCancun. “As a novelty, we are presenting our three summer series: Come What May, My Lovely Family, and The Joy of My Life.”
According to Espino, these series feature renowned casts that will set the tone in the Turkish industry soon. “Come What May is a youth series that brings all the actors of the new Turkish generation, which we will be watching in the upcoming series. This series has done very well, and we can say that it is the most successful summer series in Turkey.”
On the other hand, My Lovely Family is an exciting story where the members of a family face different dramas, while the mother, Canan, tries to make her husband, Rasim, see that everything is fine. But behind that mirage of happiness, there are divorces, remarriages, property sales, and children in search of psychological therapy.
The third summer content is The Joy of My Life, which tells the story of a housewife and her family trying to rediscover their life after 20 years. Neşe abandoned her medical studies, married, had two children, and decided to return to medical school years later.
Espino commented that Mistco continues to promote its successful series The Secrets of an Angel: “A very successful story that touches on sensitive issues such as domestic violence against women, which I think is very important to publicize these issues because it is something that unfortunately happens all over the world. This series will soon be in Ecuador, and we hope to expand to other territories.”
Mistco is an exclusive sales agent for Turkish Radio and Television (TRT), Turkey’s leading television station, where the main content promoted by the distributor can be seen: “We also have two new releases, a historical series and a youth series, that TRT will be able to see, and we are happy to present them in this market.”
Mistco’s titles trending in Turkey are Bahar, Love under the Rain, Code name Swift, The Circle, Surprise Marriage, Resurrection Ertugrul, Hold My Hand, and Melek: A Mother’s Struggle.
