Madd Entertainment will be taking its ongoing drama series Family Secrets to Mipcom, a property that now, in its second season, is one of the top shows in Turkey.
The series recently premiered at #1 in Spain, while a local adaptation has earned great ratings in Greece over its first 10 weeks. This ratings success of both readymade and adapted formats in Europe continues an incredible run for one of Turkey’s most popular TV dramas, which has already sold to numerous territories across Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
Family Secrets launched October 9 on Antena 3, where it airs under the title Secretos de familia. The series premiere had almost two million viewers, earning a 15.5% share and dominating its time slot.
In Greece, the series has been remade under the local title Pagidevmenoi, where it is still going strong after 10 episodes. This week ANT1 TV’s adaptation earned a stunning 20.4% share among the coveted 18-54 cohort.
One of the fastest-selling series today, Family Secrets has been sold to Puerto Rico, USA, Georgia, Romania, Macedonia, MENA, Israel, Chile, Cyprus, Greece, Slovenia, Uzbekistan, Argentina, Turner Latam, Honduras, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, El Salvador, Spain and Spanish speaking Andorra.
