Madd Entertainment’s Turkish drama A Woman Scorned made its debut on Telefe in Argentina and once again, the genre proved to be a winning bet for the channel.
In its premiere on Monday, July 31 under the title Traicionada, the series registered 12.65 rating points and a 43.16% share, becoming the most watched on Argentine TV.
Produced by Medyapim, A Woman Scorned is a 2020 season series in Turkey. The story follows Asya Yilmaz, a doctor with a promising career, who also has a perfect life with her husband and son. However, her life is turned upside down when she discovers that her husband has cheated on her for the past two years with a young woman.
The series stars actress Cansu Dere, Derin Gluçu, Caner Cindoruk and Berkay Ates.
It is an adaptation of the British series Doctor Foster, which was broadcast on BBC Television and distributed internationally by BBC Studio.
