Yann Paquet, Vice President, Strategy & International Affairs, announced the appointment of Louis Pearson as Senior Director, Acquisitions and Original Film.
Recognized for his expertise in the field, Louis’ assignment will be to acquire the best content for the TVA Group, Club illico and Vrai platforms. He will lead the group’s content acquisition team while retaining responsibility for Quebec film development.
“With his experience and knowledge of the local and international markets, Louis was the logical choice to lead our acquisitions team,” said Yann Paquet. “In recent years, he has played a key role in the success of our channels and platforms. Louis’ leadership and solid reputation with our partners, combined with his team’s expertise, will enable us to continue acquiring top-calibre international content in all genres.”

As head of film development for Quebecor Content, he will continue overseeing production and promotion of Quebec feature films. “I am very proud to continue this important collaboration with major talents in Quebec’s film industry,” he said.
Louis Pearson has been Director, Fiction Acquisitions & Quebec Film Development for Quebecor Content since 2018. He has been working in the film and television industry for nearly 25 years and has held senior programming and acquisitions positions with various media groups.
As Senior Director, Acquisitions, he will report to Yann Paquet.
