Mercado Libre will sell Lionsgate+’s app in Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia.
Lionsgate+, the international premium streaming service from Starz, will now become available through Mercado Libre, the leading eCommerce platform across Latin America, in key markets in the region through a recent agreement spanning Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia.
Today, beginning with Mercado Libre Brazil, Mercado Libre will sell Lionsgate+’s app. Brazil is the initial launch market, with other territories rolling out in the coming months.
As part of the agreement, customers will be able to subscribe via Mercado Libre to Lionsgate+’s library of exclusive, premium content that includes dark comedy Nacho, along with period dramas The Great and The Serpent Queen as well as true crime drama The Act.
Lionsgate+ is home to some of the most sought-after series on television, including Spanish language Original series like Señorita 89 in Latin America, plus an extensive collection of blockbuster fan-favorite movies added to the platform every month.
