Leonine Studios announced the expansion of its production division with the launch of the new Leonine Documentaries label, headed by Jochen Koestler. Through Documentaries, the expertise of production companies such as Beetz brothers film production and I&U TV will be strengthened with commercial and famous subjects, especially in the biopic, portrait, and docu-follow genres.
Jochen Koestler, Executive Vice President of Non-Fiction at Leonine Studios, will be at the helm of this new label of the German production company, with the support of executive producer Janek Romero and line producer Andreas Tuerpe.
This team has already worked on various projects such as Jan Ullrich – Der Gejagte (Prime Video), Der Anschlag – Angriff Auf Den Bvb (Sky), Schickeria – Als München Noch Sexy War (Prime Video), 22.juli – Die Schüssi (Prime Video) and Juli – Die Schüsse Von München (Sky).

We plan to expand this programming area based on market demand,” said Koestler.
