DeAPlaneta Entertainment is pleased to announce that Lars Wagner will be DeAPlaneta Kids & Family’s Director of two key European territories for the company: GSA (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and CEE (Central & Eastern Europe).
Wagner will oversee the activities carried out in the aforementioned territories in relation to the co-production and distribution of IPs aimed at children and family audiences, as well as the management and exploitation of these IPs through licensing agreements, but also in the digital environment. Wagner will also help consolidate the international strategy of three projects co-produced by DeAPlaneta Kids & Family: the animated series Milo, which already has its second season in production; the animated series Magic Lilly, in pre-production; and Superpigs, which will become a feature film that will have theatrical distribution, an animated series and a videogame.
Lars Wagner’s appointment comes at a key stage for DeAPlaneta Kids & Family as the company seeks to strengthen its position as a leading global licensing agent and brand builder at a time when its catalog contains IPs with international reach (as Magic Lilly, a German IP). Throughout his career, Wagner has been General Manager of Disney Channels in the GSA territory; CMO of Playmobil worlwide and Vice President of Digital Content Strategy & Production at Warnermedia
