The former BBC Studios executive will lead the group’s global expansion from their new office in Miami.
Grupo iZen has announced today the incorporation of Karina Dolgiej as the new Director of International Business and Co-productions. With more than 25 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, Karina will strengthen Grupo izen’s international expansion from Miami.
Throughout her career, Karina has held prominent leadership positions, including Vice President of Content Sales for Latin America and the US at BBC Studios. Her career also includes collaborations with leading companies in the sector such as Armoza Formats, Keshet International, Zodiak Latino and Univisión, consolidating herself as an expert in the Hispanic market in the United States and in the LatAm territories.
As part of this new stage, Grupo iZen will open an office in Miami, where Karina will lead the International department with the aim of strengthening the Group’s presence in both LATAM and the US, as well as strengthening relations with European markets as well as co-productions, especially those that can be filmed in Spain taking advantage of Grupo iZen’s production capacity as well as the tax incentives in Spain.
This appointment adds to the group’s management team led by Jose Velasco and Sara Fernández-Velasco.
