Thema America announced that, as of November 1st, the Turkish drama network will be available in the US to Comcast customers on the Xfinity Latino TV tier.
Thema America, a Canal+ group company, announced Kanal D Drama will be available to Comcast customers on the Xfinity Latino TV tier by November 1st.
Kanal D Drama is a global network produced from a strategic alliance between THEMA and Kanal D International, the leading exporter of Turkish dramas worldwide. Comcast will be the first US distributor to carry Kanal D Drama.
It is the first and leading network to distribute Turkish dramas worldwide, with more than 1,500 hours of entertainment including renowned and award-winning series like ¿Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagul? and titles such as: Hulya, Chicas del Sol and Kuzey Guney that will be accessible for the first time to the US Hispanic audiences.

Turkish series are among the most watched shows in Latin America and continue to be a blockbuster in every country premiered. For example, it is estimated that episodes of the romantic drama ¿Qué Culpa Tiene Fatmagul? have been seen by 12 million viewers in Argentina. And viewership of Turkish melodramas has increased to over 400 million in 140 countries.
Kanal D Drama was launched in 2018 and is now available in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay. Its success is now expanding beyond the Americas with plans to launch in Europe, Africa and Asia in the near future.
