The executive will leave the group after four years leading fiction production.
Jerry Rodriguez, Head of Scripted at Endemol Shine Boomdog, announced that he will leave his position at the Hispanic giant.
On his social media he explained that he is leaving his role after four years to “explore new challenges and future creative and business opportunities.”
The executive reviewed his time at Endemol Shine Boomdog, during which he highlighted his work as producer and showrunner for two seasons of Como Agua Para Chocolate, an HBO original series for WBD. “This project has a very important meaning for me, and making it a reality was an unforgettable experience.”
Rodriguez thanked Alejandro Rincón, Laurens Drillich, and “the entire amazing team” at Endemol Shine Boomdog. “These productions not only reached completion but also resonated with audiences, earning recognition and heartfelt responses – something I’ll always cherish.”
To all the incredible people I had the privilege of working with over these four years – thank you. It’s been an honor to collaborate shoulder to shoulder with such talent and passion,” he concluded.
Prior to his time at ESB, the executive held various positions at the production company Argos. He holds a degree in Communications from UDLA and the Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
