A German version of the miniature building competition will premiere on RTL in Germany.
ITV Studios’ hobby talent competition Pretty Small has been acquired by RTL in Germany.
In this show, some of Germany’s best model builders will create masterful miniature worlds within a wide variety of challenges that combine craftsmanship with narrative creativity.
The format, which can be labeled as the perfect ‘comfort TV show’, secured a strong first season in the Netherlands on SBS6 and has been recommissioned for a second season. The competition will air later this year on RTL under the local title Superklein – Die Miniatur Meisterschaft, produced by Bildergarten Entertainment.
Kai Sturm, RTL Director of Entertainment said: “Nobody can escape the fascination of miniature worlds, whether big or small, old or young. With Superklein – Die Miniatur Meisterschaft RTL shows the passion and craftsmanship of creative minds. I am personally very much looking forward to the various challenges faced by the model builders and, of course, to the judgments of our experts Gerrit and Frederik Braun from the famous Miniatur Wunderland.”
Pretty Small is a huge craft competition for tiny creations! The country’s best miniature model-makers compete against each other to create miniature model masterpieces. From little landmarks to a pet art-gallery and fully-functioning model villages, their creativity and craft will be tested to the max!
Pretty Small is created by ITV Studios Netherlands and distributed internationally by ITV studios.
