The Turkish distributor announced two new sales in Spain: Nova has picked up Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters, while Divinity has bet on Hayat.
On day one of Mipcom, Inter Medya announced the sale of two Turkish dramas in Spain: Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters to Atresmedia for its network Nova, and Hayat to Mediaset for Divinity.
Produced by Avsar Film, Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters was one of 2018’s most successful Turkish series. It tells the story of a single mother and her two daughters who live a modest life with a dream of becoming wealthy. Mrs. Fazilet will do anything in her power to achieve her greedy and ambitious aspirations.
Hayat, the first production by Bi Yapim, originally called Ask Laftan Anlamaz, aired on one of Turkey’s largest broadcasters, Show TV.
Perfectly combining love and humor, the series offers viewers an original Turkish Drama; on one hand is Murat, the handsome, cool, perfectionist young man who takes over the responsibility of his family’s company at an early age while on the other hand is Hayat, the beautiful, joyful, yet clumsy young woman who lives to enjoy life.
Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Head of Sales and Aquistions of Inter Medya, said “We are proud to announce this new deal for Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters and Hayat. We have always seen Spain as a natural destination for Turkish Dramas.”
“While these two titles are becoming hits worldwide, we continue to negotiate in different areas and see that the attention to the series has increased greatly.”
