The Turkish distributor announced the sale of Bitter Lands, Last Summer, The Trusted, Ramo, Tainted Love and Naked to Globo’s OTT platform in Brazil.
The Turkish distributor Inter Medya announced on Wednesday the sale of a package of six titles from Turkey on the OTT Globoplay platform of the Globo group.
As detailed, the titles included in the agreement are the dramas Bitter Lands, Last Summer, The Trusted, Ramo and Tainted Love as well as the innovative “New Generation Turkish Series”, Naked.
“Brazil is one of the leading countries in terms of content consumption thanks to its wide audience. We are happy to bring these successes from Turkey to Brazil,” said Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Director of Sales and Acquisitions at Inter Medya.
“These sales are in addition to that of the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 in Brazil, a country where we continue to broadcast Turkish content. We are sure that these six titles will be well received by Globoplay users,” she added.
With 20 million subscribers, Globoplay is the leading OTT platform in the Brazilian market.
