The title, that premieres this Wednesday on Star TV, is a co-production of TMC Film and Âlim Yapım
Turkey’s production and distribution company Inter Medya acquired the distribution rights of this season’s newest drama Poison Ivy (Gecenin Ucunda).
Produced by TMC Film and co-produced by Âlim Yapım, Poison Ivy starts it’s broadcast journey on Star TV on Wednesday evening in Turkey.
Poison Ivy has a talented cast consisting worldwide famous Neslihan Atagul Dogulu, Kadir Dogulu, Zuhal Olcay, Sarp Levendoglu and many other successful names.
Adapted from Peride Celal’s best-selling novel of the same name, Poison Ivy is about Macide’s journey into a world she has never seen before, tested with love on her way to find herself.
Macide, the daughter of a poor family, who studied psychology and who could not be happy in business life and pursued to heal others, falls in love with Ahmet’s older brother, Kazım. He is known as the smartest and the most successful businessman in the country. Macide has just met him and fallen in love with this man with a morbid passion. Macide’s love is not unrequited, but Kazım is married. On this journey to find herself, Macide is tested both by the greatest love of her life and by Kazım’s world full of wealth and power.
