The show, that premiered just a couple of weeks back on ATV, has been an instant hit with Turkish audiences
Turkey’s production and distribution company Inter Medya acquired the distribution rights of this season’s successful drama Deception (Aldatmak).
Produced by TIMS&B Productions, the creators of Bitter Lands, Deception has a very strong ensemble cast and a powerful story with many twists. Starred by Vahide Percin, Ercan Kesal, Mustafa Ugurlu, Yusuf Cim and Feyza Sevil Gungor, Deception is being directed by Bitter Lands’ succesful director Murat Saracoglu.
The gripping story of the series is being crafted by Yıldız Tunc, the successful screenwriter of Bitter Lands.
Broadcast on ATV on Thursday evenings in Turkey, Deceoption gets full marks from the audience by getting successful ratings in all categories with each episode. Consolidating its first place in the total demographic group, Deception is also among the most talked about topics on social media.
The producers of Deception, TIMS&B Productions executives, and the executives of Inter Medya, who undertake the international distribution of the series, will meet with the press on Tuesday, October 18 at Mipcom. The press event will take place at Inter Medya’s booth number C16.C. The newest drama will be introduced to the press and the World.
Deception is the latest addition of Inter Medya, which has added successful productions to its series catalog this season.
Güzide Yenersoy is a respectable family court judge living in Istanbul. With a marriage of 30 years and two children, Güzide Yenersoy has what could be described as the epitome of a perfect family. Her husband, Tarık, is an experienced and successful lawyer, running his own law firm. Her son, Ozan, is a construction engineer working at a prestigious company, while her daughter, Oylum, is studying medicine in the Netherlands, upon her mother’s insistence.
From the outside, Yenersoy family has a picture-perfect life based on trust and love, but the truth is completely different from this false reality. Although everything seems to be going well, Güzide is not aware that the events buried in the past will come to light again.
