The streaming giant will also add the titles Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Six Feet Under and Ballers
The rumored licensing agreement for HBO titles, negotiated between Warner Bros. Discovery and Netflix, has come true, and, as it had also been reported, Insecure is the first HBO series to join the Netflix catalog.
The deal, historic as it marks the first time HBO titles have also been added to a competitor’s catalog since the launch of Max, includes titles like Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Six Feet Under and Ballers, as well as True Blood, that can only be seen outside the US.
For now, only Insecure -a series with five seasons- is available for streaming on Netflix (not in all territories).
The agreement is not exclusive, so the content is still available on HBO Max, here outside the US.
