The Mexican network announced the premieres of Turkish drama Mrs Fazilet and Her Daughters and the Brazilian telenovela Orphans of a Nation
Mexican network Imagen Televisión announced the premiere of the Turkish drama Mrs Fazilet and Her Daughters, by Inter Medya. It will debut on Monday, May 4th at 8:30 p.m.
Produced by Avsar Film, Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters was one of the most successful Turkish series of 2018.
It tells the story of a single mother and her two daughters, who live a modest life with the dream of becoming rich. Ms. Fazilet will do anything in her power to achieve her ambitious aspirations.
It stars Nazan Kesal, Deniz Baysal, Çağlar Ertuğrul, Mahir Günşıray and Tolga Güleç, among others.
And the same day, but an hour earlier, Imagen will premiere Orphans of a Nation, a multi-award-winning production that tells the love story of two Syrian refugees, thus capturing a very current problem experienced by millions of people who are forced to leave their countries.
This series is part of the ambitious agreement with Brazilian production company Globo to integrate their productions into Imagen Televisión.
It tells the love story of Laila (Julia Dalavia) and Jamil (Renato Góes), a young Syrian couple who are forced to leave their country and, due to circumstances of destiny, find in Brazil the place to rebuild their lives and fight for their love.
It was written by Emmy winners Thelma Guedes and Duca Rachid, and tells a love story in the current context of the world’s refugees.
