W Dos Mundos follows Oh Yeon-joo, a cardiothoracic surgery resident whose father, creator of Korea’s most famous webtoon, W, mysteriously disappears. While searching for him, Yeon-joo is suddenly transported into the fictional world of the comic. There, she meets Kang Chul, the story’s protagonist: a young, wealthy entrepreneur and Olympic medalist determined to solve the mystery behind his family’s murder. Fed up with the character he created, Yeon-joo’s father has decided it’s time for Kang Chul to die. But when Yeon-joo intervenes and saves him from an assassin, a complex and emotional journey begins. As she falls for Kang Chul, Yeon-joo must unravel why her father is determined to kill his own creation, and how their two worlds have become intertwined. She soon learns that the only way to escape this alternate universe is to win Kang Chul’s love.
