Univision announced the upcoming U.S. premiere of Hermanas, Un Amor Compartido, a story where family bonds, sacrifice, and love challenge every limit. Starring Adriana Louvier, Danna García, Osvaldo Benavides, and Juan Martín Jauregui, the drama premieres on March 17 at 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CT on Univision.

Hermanas, Un Amor Compartido explores how far the love between two sisters can go when they are marked by adversity, secrets, and a form of motherhood that both unites and confronts them.

Since childhood, Rebeca (Danna García) and Mónica (Adriana Louvier) have built a strong relationship based on unity and unconditional support, despite having opposite personalities. They grow up in a family environment shaped by guilt, loss, and sacrifice, circumstances that force them to mature early and develop an uncommon resilience. Encouraged by their mother, both pursue professional careers and try to create a future different from the one life seemed to impose on them.

However, that balance collapses when their love for Aura puts them on an irreversible collision course. Aura is Rebeca’s biological daughter. Years earlier, to protect her from her paternal grandfather, Silverio (Guillermo García Cantú), save her life, and spare her a childhood of suffering alongside a convicted mother, Rebeca made the most painful decision of her life: to give up her motherhood and make an irrevocable pact with Mónica never to reveal Aura’s true origin.

Mónica sacrifices her marriage and her youth to raise Aura as her own daughter, concealing the truth about her origins. What begins as an act of protection becomes an intimate and painful struggle in which no decision is simple, and every choice carries consequences.

Hermanas, Un Amor Compartido is produced by Silvia Cano, directed by Silvia Tort and Rodrigo Cachero, and written by Juan Carlos Balcázar, Rosana Curiel, Cecilia Piñeiro, and Mariana Achcar.
