SBT is undergoing some changes in its programming grid and can naturally make the necessary adjustments and changes to the programming.

Brazil’s free TV channel, SBT, joined this year’s LA Screenings as an active buyer and has been on the trail of multiple successful formats to include in its programming at a time when the channel’s schedule is going through several changes.

Goyo García, manager of Content Sales & Acquisitions at SBT, told ttvnews that SBT is going through some changes in its programming grid, as they are in a phase of evaluating the performance of the programs that have premiered this year and are in a natural moment to make the necessary adjustments and changes to the programming.

“We are here (at LA Screenings) looking for quite a few formats, container programs of long duration, some reaching up to four hours. We are looking for simple things that are not very expensive to produce, and they have to be popular formats, nothing that is too complex for the audience to understand, and that are simple things,” said Garcia.

According to the executive, SBT even needs to include daily programs in some cases. “So everything that is daily and studio production is quite interesting for us at the moment,” he concluded.
