Canal 10 in Uruguay announced the local version of the Fremantle and Syco Entertainment format will premiere during the first quarter of next year.
Acquired in March and officially announced in late July, Got Talent will premiere in 2020, as revealed by Uruguayan network Canal 10.
According to the announcement, the local version’s premiere will be “during the first quarter of next year.” Still, the casting process will begin in October and spread across the entire country.
The show will also have live elimination events hosted all over the territory.
It will be hosted by singer and actress, Natalia Oreiro. The judges will be ballet dancer, María Noel Riccetto; actress and host, Claudia Fernández; and radio host, Orlando Petinatti.
A fourth judge will be “announced shortly”.
With its local adaptation, Uruguay joins Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and Colombia, which have all already premiered local versions in Latin America.
In total, Got Talent has been adapted in over 70 countries and aired in more than 200.
