Eight years after its original premiere in the country, the Peruvian channel announced the return of Peru tiene talento, the local version of the Fremantle format.

The premiere of Peru tiene talento, the local edition of the Fremantle format, will thus return to the Peruvian channel’s screen after eight years off the air with its third edition.
“The most successful format worldwide, which captivated the entire Peruvian public eight years ago, returns to the screens of Latina Televisión to the excitement of the entire public,” they revealed from the channel.
“Peru tiene talento returns with more emotions and promising to bring great surprises, but now is the time for you to be part of the show.”
The announcement was made through an advertising spot, which also revealed the amount of the jackpot for this new edition: 30,000 soles (US$ 8,000).
Got Talent is a talent contest that allows people of all walks of life to demonstrate their skills in front of a jury of four celebrities, for a chance to win a cash prize.
The format has been adapted in dozens of countries around the world, including several in Latin America, where this year it has achieved notable results in both Chile and Uruguay.
