The Brazilian series about the appreciation of life will be aired dubbed in French on the RTLplay platform.
Globo’s dramaturgy big hit, the telenovela A Life Worth Living reaches Belgium in July through RTLplay, AVOD/FVOD platform of RTL Belgium with exclusive series, movies and TV replay, and will be available in a French-dubbed version.
The telenovela is part of Globo’s robust catalog of French-dubbed titles, to serve the most varied publics and interests.
The Brazilian storyline had great success indicators in several countries throughout the world: it was audience rating leader in its slot in Brazil and in Uruguay (public of 18 to 49 years old), and in Portugal, in addition to being one of the most viewed Pay TV programs, it increased by 30% the audience in the slot in relation to the previous program.
In A Life Worth Living, the lead star Paloma (Grazi Massafera) is a struggling and dreaming woman who raises her three sons by herself. After being a victim of a mix-up of laboratory exams, her life turns around believing that she only has six more months to live. This will lead her to meet Alberto (Antonio Fagundes), a millionaire owner of a book publishing house who never valued the family. With the passing of time, they have built a friendship capable of giving a new meaning to their lives, having the passion for literature as their main bond.
With the authorship of Rosane Svartman and Paulo Halm, A Life Worth Living stands out in bringing to viewers a story about the appreciation of life through a narrative that makes the public identify itself with it.
“This production portrays so much about paying attention, even before a boring and tiring daily life, in important things that they can be overlooked, such as an embrace on someone we love or a compliment to someone. This is noticing the other”, the author Rosane remarks. “A telenovela is an immense dialog with society. We want people to think about their lives, about having faith or not. The idea is to talk and have a dialog with the viewers, never imposing an idea”, she completes.
