The platform will premiere Tainted Love, by Inter Medya, this March; while Bitter Lands, also from Inter Medya; Hercai and Marasli, from ATV; Mr. Wrong, from Global Agency; and Twist of Fate, by Kanal D, will arrive later this year.
After the success of Mother, which had the best performance of a series acquired since the arrival of foreign telenovelas on the platform, Globoplay will premiere, starting in March, six new Turkish dramas.
“The platform has sought, with constant investment, an increasingly broad catalog for lovers of the genre, which is recognized as a national passion,” they said from the platform.
The first production available already in March will be Amor e Honra, a 30-episode drama, distributed internationally by Inter Medya as Tainted Love.
In the story, Yasemin (Melis Sezen) is a law student who grew up in an orphanage and takes care of her brother, Murat (Kerin Tuna Kaba), who is hard of hearing. After a conflictive meeting with the businessman Cem (Burak Sevinc), the young woman will face a series of injustices that will hinder her romance.
And in the remainder of the year, the platform will premiere five other Turkish dramas: Bitter Lands (Inter Medya), Hercai (ATV), Mr Wrong (Global Agency), Marasli (ATV) and Twist of Fate (Kanal D).
