The quiz show format has been acquired in Croatia.
Global Agency announces that its hit quiz format Joker will be on air on Monday, February 26th in Croatia. The show will be broadcasted daily and hosted by Frano Ridjan.
Joker is a fun and fast-moving quiz show in which a contestant answers 12 challenging multiple-choice questions to snatch the jackpot at the top of a money tree or slide to the bottom and win nothing. It was developed by the creator of several Global Agency hit formats including Blind Taste and Shopping Monsters.
The show achieved great success in Portugal with more than 1100 episodes on RTP; and France with more than 400 daily episodes on France 2. The format was initially broadcast on the Turkish public broadcaster TRT for over 100 episodes. The show also continues to air successfully in Poland and Slovenia.
Izzet PINTO, Founder & CEO of Global Agency, said: “We are thrilled to be announcing this new sale for Joker, one of our most entertaining and challenging quiz shows. Negotiations for Joker continue in several countries. 2024 is set to be the year of Joker, with it expected to be on air in 10+ territories.”
A quiz show with simple rules and thrilling reversals of fortune right until the end! The contestant will be given 12 questions to answer and 7 Jokers to help them. All 12 questions must be answered. For every correct answer, the contestants will go up one step on the money tree. Jokers can be used to eliminate wrong answers from the multiple choices offered. If they give a wrong answer, the contestant will lose 3 Jokers. After they have run out of Jokers, they will drop down 3 steps on the money tree with each wrong answer. By the end of the 10th question, they will win the money prize wherever they are positioned on the money tree. Easy to play, fast and compelling viewing! Joker is sure to win big audiences.
