The vice president of Content Strategy of Canela Media shared the production company’s initiatives for the remainder of the year and its scheduled projects for 2024.

In addition to the news of its alliance with Hemisphere Media Group, Canela Media has been the protagonist of the LA Screenings Independents 2023, showcasing new titles such as Secretos de las Indomables and Secretos de villanas.

“This summer Secretos de las Indomables is premiering as an original content, part of our franchise, and for the last quarter of the year Secretos de villanas, season two will premiere as well,” said Gachi Ciurluin, Vice President of Content Strategy at Canela Media. “I assure you that these titles will surprise you.”

Thinking about next year, Canela is clear about its goals: “We plan to produce some 2,000 hours of original content, combining scripted and non-scripted,” Ciurluini said.

All this, is in addition to the recent agreement signed with Hemisphere: “It is an alliance for the production of films, audience favorites: comedies, dramas, a very interesting variety, with well-known Latino celebrities,” explained the executive.
