Fremantle US, the creators of unscripted shows such as American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and Password, continues expanding its unscripted development team with three new acquisitions.
Following the recent announcement that Jimmy Fox joined Fremantle US as Executive Vice President of Unscripted Development and Sales, the company today announced that it has named Megan McGrath as Senior Vice President of Unscripted Development. In addition, Fox has brought Stephanie Valentin and Emily Bon on board as Vice Presidents of Unscripted Development.
These new team members will join forces with Fox to not only strengthen existing properties but also pave the way for new programs and formats.
“Fremantle is already the home to some of the world’s best-known titles in the unscripted world, and our team is up to the challenge to identify the next wave of culture-defining series,” said Jimmy Fox. “With each of their unique backgrounds and individual perspectives when it comes to ideation, I’m inspired by our ability to create a diverse slate of projects across a wide spectrum of genres for the US market and beyond.”

During her time there, she created and oversaw the company’s podcast division, producing Girl in The Picture, a feature documentary for Netflix, and its accompanying podcast series. Additionally, she was a co-executive producer for the Netflix reality competition dating series Dated & Related.
Valentin arrives at Fremantle from Main Event Media, where she most recently served as VP of Creative Development and Production. While there, she developed and packaged unscripted series for major networks and streaming platforms, including co-executive producing the culinary competition series Eye Candy for Roku and being nominated for a Critics Choice Real TV Award for her Co-Executive Producer work on the Snapchat original series While Black with MK Asante.
