France tv distribution has announced international sales for the first episodes of Curious by Nature (Enquête Parallèle), its light crime series, securing multiple deals across key territories, with a strong foothold in Spain.
In the Spanish market, the series has been acquired by ETB and Aragón TV, alongside NBCUniversal International Networks & DTC for its channel Calle 13. These agreements reinforce the show’s presence in the country and highlight continued demand among both free-to-air broadcasters and pay TV platforms for European procedural content.
Beyond Spain, the series has also been picked up by NBCUniversal International Networks & DTC for 13 Ulica in Poland; by Walter Presents / Global Series Network for Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada; by TV3 Group Latvia in Latvia; and by Blue+ in Switzerland.
The 5×90’ series follows Fred, a former war reporter turned local journalist who retains her sharp instincts and temper. When her assignments lead her to uncover criminal cases that have been prematurely closed, her drive for the truth pushes her to launch her own investigations. Alongside her loyal but clumsy cameraman Manu and her adopted daughter Rosa, Fred navigates a mix of colorful cases and chaotic family life with humor and determination.
