Fox’s news channel will arrive in OTT format in Mexico on August 20 and in Spain on September 17. The plan is to expand to 20 territories by the end of the year.
Fox News Media, one of Fox’s most important units that was not acquired by Disney, announced in the last hours plans to launch an international streaming platform for its star channel, Fox News.
Named “Fox News International”, the OTT platform will begin its international expansion in Mexico on August 20.
It will then continue through Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom on September 17. The idea is to reach 20 territories before the end of the year.
As detailed, the OTT will cost US$ 6.99 per month and will be available on iPhone, Android, Apple TV and Android TV. It is also working on its arrival on Amazon Fire TV and Roku.
The offer will consist of live streams of its linear networks and on-demand access to more than 20 Fox News star programs, such as Tucker Carlson Tonight, Hannity, Wall Street and Lou Dobbs Tonight, among others.
