Oliver Hudson will star alongside Elodie Yung in the local adaptation of the Argentine series, La chica que limpia, as FBI Agent Garret Miller, a role created to replace Vincent Piazza’s Agent Gavin Ross, who had to leave the project.
In May of this year, US network Fox presented the first trailer of its new crime series, The Cleaning Lady, the American adaptation of the Argentine series, La chica que limpia.
Starring Elodie Yung in the title role, the series saw a change in its central cast this week with the arrival of Oliver Hudson, its new male counterpart.
Hudson joined the series as FBI Agent Garret Miller, a role created to replace Vincent Piazza’s Agent Gavin Ross, who had to leave the project.
The main cast is completed by Adam Canto, Martha Millan and twins Sebastien and Valentino LaSalle.
It will be executive produced by Miranda Kwok (who also signs as a screenwriter) along with Melissa Carter, who will also be the showrunner.
Shay Mitchell will also serve as an executive producer for Amore & Vita Productions, Inc. alongside RMVIstar’s Rose Marie Vega and Jaque Content’s Paola Suarez.
Michael Offer directed and produced the pilot, with production being handled by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment.
La chica que limpia was produced by Jaque Content (ex Germina Films) and aired in 2017 on the Argentine platform Cine.ar Play. It is written by Irene Gissara, directed by Lucas Combina and executive produced by Paola Suárez.
In addition to the US, the series was adapted in Mexico as La muchacha que limpia, produced by BTF Media for Turner Latin America.
