The experienced executive, who has held top roles in the industry such as International Director of Sales at Televisa and VP of Latin American Sales at BBC Worldwide, has been named International Sales director at the NY-based studio.
FilmRise, the New York-based film and television studio and streaming network, has announced the appointment of Emilia Nuccio in the newly created position of Vice President, International Sales. The announcement was made today by Danny Fisher, CEO at FilmRise.
As Vice President of International Sales, Nuccio will oversee all international deals, be responsible for selling the FilmRise catalogue as well as new release and FilmRise co-productions into the international marketplace among other responsibilities.

Emilia Nuccio has spent most of her career as a leader in the domestic and international sales and digital distribution arena focusing on acquisitions, licensing, and merchandising. She has worked with many high-profile entertainment companies in roles including Senior Vice President of Sales at Dynamic Television; President of International Sales at Echo Bridge for two years following four years as their Senior Vice President; President of International Program and Licensing Sales at Itsy Bitsy Entertainment Company and as Vice President; Latin American Sales at BBC Worldwide Americas; International Director of Sales at Televisa, among others.
In 2001 she founded her own company, Enoro Media and she continues to serve on the Board of Directors of the Worldwide Audiovisual Women’s Association.
Ms. Nuccio will report directly to Melissa Wohl, Senior Vice President, Head of Sales at FilmRise.
