Turkish network Kanal D announced it has begun filming its new Turkish series: Romance Next Door (Çatı Katı Aşk), which resumed production on June 9th.
Produced by Mia Yapım, the romantic comedy stars Furkan Andıç, Ezgi Şenler, Yiğit Kirazcı and Nilay Deniz.
The premiere is scheduled for this summer, while international distribution will be managed by Kanal D International.
The series is directed by Barış Yös and written by Saygın Delibaş, Fethi Kantarcı and Barkın Şenüren, and will take the essence of old Turkish movies with a friendly, romantic and innocent plot.
Romance Next Door tells a story of love and friendship between Ateş Avcı, Ayşen Yılmaz, Demir Yılmaz and Yasemin Çetin, four young people from different social classes and cultures, with opposite personalities.
