Three Movistar Plus+ original series premiered this year on the platform, Galgos, Marbella, and Segunda Muerte, will be available at Natpe Budapest.
Galgos, Marbella, and Segunda Muerte are the three new titles that Movistar Plus+ will present during Natpe Budapest, Fabrizia Palazzo, Distribution Manager of Movistar Plus+ International, told ttvnews. All three titles premiered this year on the company’s streaming platform.
Palazzo said Galgos is a family drama with six 50-minute episodes. “It’s a family story about the economic crisis of a company owned by a very wealthy family. Obviously, the crisis will also cause family balances to change, and a war of egos to lead the company begins.”
Continuing with Marbella, the executive pointed out that it is a very commercial thriller from the same creators of La Unidad, Beto Marín, and Dani de la Torre. “It is a commercial show of six episodes for 50 minutes in the south of Spain, in Marbella, where more than 69 different mafias coexist. It is based on a real journalistic investigation. The main character is an unscrupulous lawyer who will understand very well the limit between being an unscrupulous lawyer and a gangster”, said Palazzo.
Finally, Segunda Muerte has just premiered on the Movistar Plus+ streaming platform. Palazzo noted that it is a rural thriller in Cantabria, northern Spain. “It’s a crime thriller where the protagonist discovers by chance the corpse of an old woman, who was supposed to have been buried seven years earlier. That’s where the whole investigation begins,” she concluded.
