Upon the success of global phenomenon Squid Game, the distributor is presenting a selection of Korean movies, led by Deliver Us From Evil, starring the Netflix series’ protagonist, Lee Jung-jae.
Following the global success of Netflix new series Squid Game, EO MEDIA’s distribution division has secured the rights and will launch this Mipcom an all new Slate of Korean Films, that presents the new Blockbuster movie Deliver Us From Evil, starring Squid Game’s protagonist Lee Jung-jae.
EO had the chance to taste the appetite for Korean content early this year, incorporating with Impacto Cine the academy award winner screenplay Parasite, as well as Blockbuster movie Ashfall, both of them also licensed to Netflix Latam and now available for linear rights.
The Korean Slate includes the mentioned #1 Box office title Deliver Us From Evil, Ashfall, The Closet, Exit, Impetigore, Parasite, Asura, Veteran, Tidal Wave and The Promise, several of them also presenting Squid Game’s cast, such as Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-Hun, Anupam Tripathi and others.
The company will bring to Mipcom it’s over 120 titles, including top premieres as new Al Pacino’s American Traitor, Johnny Depp’s Minamata, Keira Knightley’s Misbehaviour (directed by multi-awarded Philippa Lowthorpe), Elisabeth Moss Shirley, Academy Award nominee The Man Who Sold His Skin, along with an amazing Action Movie Pack with top cast and Nicely Entertainment’s Holiday and Romantic comedies slate.
EO Media is also the exclusive agent for Movistar Latin American Series Ruido Capital, Manual De Supervivencia, Un Dia Eres Joven y El Dia De Mi Suerte and the upcoming Los Prisioneros, along with Story Lab Argentine Original’s Post Mortem & Estocolmo, La Ultima Hora, El Secretario and Perfidia.
