Mediahub partnership with docuseries producer Omava LLC is already paying dividends for both parties. One of Omava’s titles, Stop Border Control, will be soon on a big German broadcaster, announced Elif Turna, Sales & Business Development Manager at Mediahub, during an interview held at Miptv 2024.
“For our clients in Europe we have this exciting news regarding Omava LLC titles, specifically Stop Border Control: we have closed a successful deal with one of the biggest German broadcasters in the country,” shared the executive.
Stop Border Control is a documentary series that showcases the ingenious smuggling techniques and dramatic situations taking place in 15 border checkpoints in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Bolivia and Peru.
“After this news we will have even more big opportunities in Europe,” she added.
On the drama side, Mediahub catalogue is lead by Alaca and Broken Lives. “They are both very succesful Turkish series and they will be available dub in Spanish very soon,” says Turna.
“Our clients are asking for the perfect Turkish drama content,” she shared. “The channels and audiences are looking for more Traditional titles. Therefore, last year we created Alaca, with the addition of these perfect Turkish dramas elements. We are hoping to take it to as many countries as possible.”
