The Turkish drama ended with an 11.0 rating and became a trending topic on social media.
After 1,160 episodes and 42 months on the air, the Turkish drama Elif came to an end this Monday in Chile on TVN.
And, unsurprisingly, the episode achieved notable results for the Chilean state channel, being the second most watched of the schedule.
Indeed, between 8:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Elif scored an average online rating of 10.4 points with a peak of 11 units, while at the same time Mega scored 20.4, CHV 8.6 and Canal 13, 7.2 points.
The hashtag #ElifGranFinal also became a trending topic on social networks, with hundreds of comments.
In these more than three years on the air, Elif remained indisputably the second most viewed show in its time slot, with an average rating from November 24, 2016 to last Monday of 6.4 points, followed by CHV with 5.3 and Canal 13 with 4.7 units. Mega, meanwhile, averages 13.8 units in that time period.
Elif also has the honor of being the longest television series ever broadcast in Chile.
Elif is a Green Yapim production, aired in Turkey on Kanal 7 and distributed internationally by Eccho Rights.
