The executive announced on his social media that he will leave the group he joined in 2019 and helped launch Pluto TV in the region.

After six years of working with the group, Eddy Arias is stepping down from his role at Paramount, where he most recently served as VP of International Content Partnerships for Pluto TV.

The executive made the announcement on his own Linkedin, where he recalled his time at the company and thanked his colleagues for the experience.

“I joined Paramount in early 2019 as a consultant supporting the launch of Paramount+ in Latin America. By that fall, I stepped into a full-time role helping lead the expansion of Pluto TV across the region. What began as a regional initiative quickly became a global effort, launching in 35 countries across Latin America, Brazil, Europe, Canada, and Australia”, he said.

“Alongside some of the most talented teams I’ve ever worked with, I had the privilege of helping drive Pluto TV’s international growth: securing 485 content partnerships, launching 1400 channels and delivering 300,000 hours of content to viewers worldwide”.

The executive didn’t reveal what his next steps are going to be.

Prior to joining Paramount, the executive spent seven years at Sony Pictures Entertainment, leading programming and content acquisitions for the group’s channels and platforms in Latin America and Brazil.
