Present at Content Americas, the distributor announced the sale of Golden Boy to Atresmedia in Spain and Mega in Chile, while the latter also acquired Chrysalis.
International distributor Eccho Rights has concluded new deals for hit Turkish drama series Golden Boy and Chrysalis, during Content Americas in Miami.
Atresmedia has acquired Golden Boy for Spain, the latest title from Turkey for the broadcast group that first introduced Turkish drama to the Spanish market in 2018.

In Chile, Mega, another channel at the forefront of Turkish drama’s global explosion in the past decade, has picked up both Golden Boy and Chrysalis.

Golden Boy, produced by OGM Pictures for Star TV, is a classic family drama that tells the story of two sisters, Seyran and Suna, whose paths cross with golden boy Ferit. The two sisters’ lives change forever when Ferit decides to marry Seyran instead of Suna. Seyran will be the new bride in a family full of betrayals, lies and secrets, while Suna will start making revenge plans to get back her stolen future. The series stars Afra Saraoğlu, Mert Ramazan Demir & Çetin Tekindor.
Chrysalis, produced by OGM Pictures for Kanal D, is the story of Nalan, a young woman full of hope, seeking happiness and love in a world that confronts her with difficulties at every turn. Despite these many obstacles, Nalan remains determined to blossom as she grows in her career, her romantic life, and into adulthood. The series stars Burucu Biricik, Feyyaz Şerifoğlu & Tamer Levent
