Dubhub will localise the Turkish drama series, 6 of Us, in French.

Stockholm- and Istanbul-based localisation company Dubhub is partnering with OGM Universe the global distribution arm of OGM Pictures, one of Turkey’s leading producers in Istanbul, to localise the Turkish drama series 6 of Us (original title Sahipsizler) for French audiences.

The series launched in Turkey in 2024 and aired its final episode last month on Star TV. On YouTube, the first episode of the series in Turkish has been viewed 23 million times, making it one of the top Turkish series of all time.

Dubhub will localise the series in French using Dubhub’s new technology, Evocion, an AI-based system for emotion transfer that combines advanced technology with management by human editors and translators.

“Top Turkish dramas are incredibly strong both for licensing and for direct-to-consumer channels such as YouTube. With language versions, revenues from the original language on YouTube can normally be multiplied 3–4 times,” says Fredrik af Malmborg, CEO of Dubhub.

Dubhub has recently launched version 2.0 of its in-house developed production app for AI dubbing, including new modules for emotion transfer under the name Evocion. The new technology is a game changer for audio dubbing and adds a high level of character performance, as well as line-by-line direction of voices.

OGM Pictures, one of Turkey’s leading production companies, with numerous global hits including Golden Boy, The Fall of the King and Reborn. Some OGM Pictures series are among the world’s most powerful drama productions of recent years, reaching more than 100 million viewers.
