The event’s organization announced the list of winners for Latin America and US Hispanic, which includes groups like Disney, NBCUniversal and Viacom among the gold and silver winners.
Global entertainment marketing association Promax on Thursday unveiled the winners of the 2019 Latin America and US Hispanic Awards during an awards show that streamed live on Facebook Live.
Companies that won gold and silver in multiple categories included The Walt Disney Company Latin America, NBCUniversal International Networks and The Viacom Agency.
Others that also brought home several wins included A&E Networks Latin America, and Discovery Networks Latin America.
In the US Hispanic competition, leading companies were Audible, CNN Worldwide, Discovery en Español, ESPN, NBCUniversal Telemundo and Univision.
“This year’s work in both the Latin America and U.S. Hispanic competitions is the best we’ve ever seen, especially in light of how quickly the industry is changing,” said Promax President and CEO Steve Kazanjian.
“We were honored to receive so many high-quality submissions and we’d like to thank our juries for their thoughtful work in selecting this year’s winners.”
Finalists for the Promax Latin America and US Hispanic Awards are voted on by an online jury after companies submit their entries, with winners selected via in-person peer-based juries.
This year’s finalists were announced at a Promax Latino 2019 event in Miami on Oct. 3, hosted by Cesar Sabroso, SVP, Marketing, A&E Latin America.
