Global production and distribution studio, The Story Lab announced today the signing of a new licence deal for the hit factual entertainment format All Together at the Table, with Discovery Networks Mexico.
The new deal will see the format air as Todos a la Cocina, premiering on Discovery Home & Health, produced in-house by Discovery.
Coined as the nation’s biggest cooking class, All Together at the Table originated on M6 in France as Tous en Cuisine and sees a celebrity chef cook live from their kitchen, accompanied by their assistant and co-host to cook a two-course meal for four people. The chef communicates on social networks the list of ingredients to be purchased in advance so that viewers can follow the chef’s recipe instructions in real time. Several families and a celebrity guest join to follow the instructions form the chef from their homes.
Discovery Networks Mexico will launch an 8-episode prime time series initially on Home & Health channel, to be followed by airings on Food Network Latin America and Sony Channel, Mexico.
The Mexican deal sees a wider partnership with The Story Lab and dentsu International client T-Fal to feature its products in the format, utilising the unique relationship between The Story Lab and dentsu International’s advertising clients.
