Atresmedia continues to reap success with its commitment to Spanish fiction. One of its most acclaimed titles from last year, Déjate Ver (Show Yourself), extends its successful international journey by reaching new territories where the series will now be available.

Starting this Thursday, December 19, at 9:30 PM, the prestigious player DirecTV will premiere Déjate ver (Show Yourself) in Latin America. The series will air on Thursdays via OnDirectv channels and stream on DGO. Additionally, the series will soon be available in Australia thanks to Atresmedia’s agreement with SBS.

The success of Déjate ver (Show Yourself) doesn’t stop there. Atresmedia has agreed with a major Hollywood production company to develop an American adaptation of the series.

The series, written and directed by Álvaro Carmona, had already received international recognition by being selected for the latest Berlinale, one of the few worldwide series, further showcasing the international strength of Atresmedia’s productions. In addition, it won the Critics’ Choice Award at the German series festival Seriencamp, granted by specialized critics. The series was also featured as one of the selected titles at the French festival Series Mania, held last March in Lille, and at the European Serial Killer festival, which took place this September in the Czech Republic.

Déjate ver (Show Yourself) is a production of Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Buendía Estudios. Montse García, Álvaro Carmona, Sonia Martínez, and Borja Echevarría are the executive producers of the project, with Lucía Alonso-Allende as the executive co-producer.

Déjate ver (Show Yourself)

Created by Álvaro Carmona and starring Macarena Sanz, is a dramatic comedy with an author’s stamp and a marked personality that revolves around the search for oneself and the need to transcend in today’s world.

With this idea as a starting point, the series deals with themes such as concept and identity, personal fulfillment, the world of art and entertainment, loneliness, the idea of family, or the current relationship with technology, offering the viewer a fresh, new, and witty point of view.
